Are you a Criminal Defence Solicitor (with duty status) looking to join one of the East Midlands leading full service law firms working out of their central Leicester office?
You will be a qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor and have duty status, ideally you will be circa 2 years PQE. You will have experience dealing with a variety of criminal matters before the Magistrates Court and Youth Court andexperience of Crown Court workloadadvantageous although not essential for this role.
Working as part of this well regarded specialist criminal team in Leicester, your new role will see you managing your own caseload of criminal defence matters and attending meetings with clients at Police Stations and Magistrates’ Courts in and around the Leicestershirearea. You will be part of the rota for out of hours work as part of the team and so you'll travel to different court centres and police stations.
The team have a great attitude towards the work that they do and you'll be surrounded by very experienced solicitors. This is a great opportunity to be part of a challenging yet rewarding department where you'll have exposure to quality work.
On offer is a competitive salary in line with your previous criminal defence experience and PQE.
