Summary We’re looking for an exceptional Programme Coordinator to work with our Head Curator and Development Specialist for Curation and Experience to manage the design, delivery and evaluation of an ambitious two-year development programme for National Trust Curators.
Contract: This is a fixed-term full-time role for 24 months.

Your contractual location will be our head office in Swindon, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve travel to our head office andother locations across the Trust to meet with stakeholders and to carry out work.
What you'll be doing Reporting to the Development Specialist - Curation and Experiences, you will work as part of a team to coordinate, design, deliver and evaluate an ambitious plan for curatorial development.
You will be responsible for providing high quality professional programme support to the Development Specialist for Curation and Experiences, ensuring the smooth running of the programme, its support systems and processes.
The programme will be delivered across multiple channels and formats including expert training and on-line masterclasses, professional networking, residentials and a research fund. The Programme Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring all programmeactivities are integrated and communicated and that the agreed outcomes for each development activity are met.
It is a complex and ambitious programme with different strands and multiple stakeholders which will require excellent programme coordination skills along with the ability to work with and engage a dispersed team.

For this positionwe’re looking for someone who has the drive, creativity and the ability to work at pace to deliver great outcomes for our teams. You’ll be a highly organised individual, with experience of working within a training and development team with strong planningand organisational skills and some knowledge of training designing, facilitation and professional development.
- Experience in providing high-quality professional programme support to enable the programme to meet its objectives and deliver agreed outcomes. Excellent organisational and planning skills and the ability to work well under pressure are essential.
- Ability to communicate with clarity, employing a range of methods and approaches, including communication materials and presentations
- Strong people skills and the ability to work well in a team, building relationships and sharing ideas in an open, collaborative and constructive way.
- Confident liaising with a range of stakeholders, providing a consistent point of contact internally and, where relevant externally, to ensure high level of customer service for the programme.
- Some knowledge of and experience in training design and professional development (or interest to develop in this area).
- Experience of collating, maintaining, analysing and preparing data to provide reports, including evaluation, to internal and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of budgets and finance with experience of record keeping. The postholder will monitor invoices and purchasing procedures, reporting at regular intervals on progress against programme budget.
