Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable duties.

**Overview**:
Reporting to the Accounts Manager you will provide support to the Finance department for accounts payable and ensure the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions. Complete the reconciliation of key accounts (including the bank account) and action month end close.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Preparation of daily reporting and analysis

2. Answering the telephone, diverting calls and taking messages

3. Filing, opening and distribution of post

4. Develop and maintain positive business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Reduction and resolution of aged issue items

6. Liaise with all stakeholders as required to resolve any escalated supplier account issues.

7. Support continuous system and process improvements.

8. Demonstrate effective time management.

9. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase ledger transactions for all expenditure streams.

10. Paperwork completion - matching to correspondence, supplier reports.

11. Processing of Purchase Invoices.

12. Dealing with telephone calls from suppliers relating to requests for payment and general queries.

13. Supplier Statement reconciliation.

16. Reviewing and maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the Purchase Ledger.

**Knowledge and skills**:
1. Proven experience of supplier and client relationship management

2. Excellent computerised system skills and advanced Excel abilities

3. Excellent relationship building skills.

4. Committed to continuous improvement.

5. Excellent organisational and time management skills

6. Confident communicator with a positive outlook

7. Driving license required and own transportation is essential.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year plus package

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
