**Job overview**:
We require enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to play an important role dedicated to ensuring excellent standards of care to our patients within the intermediate care setting.
Working within a team of highly skilled and motivated staff where patient focus is our priority. You will work with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to assist registered nurses and therapists in a range of patient care activities, assisting patients with activities of living, to promote faster recovery from illness and maximise independent living. You will also provide basic patient care as directed by registered staff.
**Main duties of the job**:
We strive to make patient, family and carer experience as good as possible. The job is both exciting and challenging where team working is essential and initiative is paramount. Excellent communication, confidence and compassion are essential.
You will be provided with the training required to work safely with people and the opportunity to develop personally to shape your future. These include for example mandatory training, basic life support, moving and handling, infection prevention and control, fire, health and safety, basic food hygiene, communication skills, recording vital signs, confidentiality, ward etiquette and venepuncture.

- Previously worked in a caring environment
- The ability to converse at ease with members of the public and provide advice in accurate spoken English.

- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service
