Then we have a fantastic opportunity for you We are currently recruiting for a thriving manufacturer basedon the outskirts of Dudley who are looking to add a Production Manager to their ranks to help meet production targets and drive the team forward. This role will be directly responsible for the shop floor employees (10 people) whilst also producing productionplans, looking into quality and process improvements and much more.

**What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?**
- We are ideally looking for a minimum of 5 years’ experience operating at a production supervisor/manager level but would consider less for the right person.
- This role will be both shop floor and office based so will require someone who is fully computer literate but also willing to get 'stuck in’
- A manufacturing background is essential, ideally in engineering.
- Experience allocating labour, producing production schedules and reviewing production processes to achieve works orders on time and to the highest of quality.
- Strong communication skills to liaise and motivate the shop floor
- Strong health and safety and quality knowledge and prior experience enforcing this amongst the shop floor.
- LEAN manufacturing knowledge and experience in identifying and implementing improvements will be desirable
- Any management qualifications would be advantageous
- Strong organisational skills to keep on top of production demands, stock control, labour required and more.
- Motivational attitude to have the production work force on side and driving together to hit and excel targets.
- Approachable and fair management style.

**What's on offer?**
- A competitive salary between £30,000 - £40,000
- 25 days holiday + BH
- Day time hours with an early finish on Friday
- Working in a friendly and approachable team with time served employees
