We are Coty and we are recruiting for our next HR Intern in an exciting role that sits in our manufacturing site based in Ashford, Kent. Our Ashford site manufacturers colour cosmetics including foundation, mascara, lipgloss and more, as well as being the home of the global Planning Hub.

Over the course of the internship you will support the manufacturing teams and the global Planning Hub, c. 350 employees across a variety of roles.

The role scope is very broad and will include getting involved with HR operational activity from supporting HR Managers/Advisors with case management to executing cyclical HR processes. The role will support across areas including employee engagement, talent and performance management, learning and development, employee relations, benefits etc., relying as necessary on Coty HR Centers of Excellence and working closely with HR Managers/Advisors

The role reports to the HRBP for Ashford.

New Starters & Leavers Management

Working closely with the Recruitment and Transactional HR teams to ensure the smooth onboarding of new employees from their first interaction with Coty. Own all joiner-mover-leaver activities eg. deliver a brilliant on-boarding experience including coordination and management of the induction process for new joiners and smooth off-boarding and exit of leavers. Conduct exit interviews with leavers (up to a certain level) and on a periodic basis share this feedback with HR/Leadership team, highlighting what’s working well and any potential areas for improvement.

Measuring our Impact Measure the impact of our training, culture and growth initiatives. Provide analysis on the back of conducting surveys and present this data back in a succinct and engaging way. At the same time, provide recommendations of changes/modifications any initiatives to the HR team, and potentially to Ashford leadership team.

HR Administration & Advice Support with employee relations matters including, but not limited to: Advise on disciplinary and grievance investigation meetings Participate in the meetings in a note taking capacity Drafting letters/invites to attendees required at the meetings Updating templates
Be the first port of call for basic HR policy related advise, escalating to HR Manager when needed.

Employee Engagement Drive the employee engagement agenda for Coty manufacturing including assisting in the development of the Employee forum

Learning & Growth Assist with the delivery of relevant learning and development initiatives. Develop a calendar of learning and growth initiatives and communicate these to the business ensuring communication remains consistent and the business.

UK Wide Projects Support and/or lead on ad-hoc HR projects at a local level such as On Boarding, Health & Well Being, Diversity & Inclusion etc.
