**Job Purpose**:
**NG9, Nottingham**

**Full-Time, Permanent**

**Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Hybrid Working**

**£35,000 - £42,000 DOE (opportunity to progress to Bid Manager)**

**Principal Accountabilities**:

- Conducting research to enhance and tailor bids including; sector research, client research, competitor research, product, equipment, solution service research.
- In coordination with the Bid Coordinator monitor/manage all procurement portals to identify potential business aligned opportunities.
- Working with the Head of Bid Management through a bid/no-bid process.
- Manage the submission of Approved Vendor Registrations, Pre-Qualification Questionnaires, Invitation to Tenders, Invitation to Negotiate, tender clarification requests, general Marketing and Social Media collateral.
- Develop tailored win themes and bid production strategies.
- Support the construction, writing and editing of bids and proposals, to create compelling winning bids.
- Provide end-to-end support throughout the bid life cycle, including; tender kick off, proposal management, presentations and obtaining stakeholder feedback.
- Responsible for the quality of all aspects of the bid, including written documentation and presentations, ensuring that written proposals are clear, concise and compelling.
- Work alongside a team of Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) to develop strong, tailored responses.
- Continuously develop the comprehensive bid library, answer base, case studies, bid and marketing collateral.
- Creating a tender timelines/plans/schedules to pre-empt bid processes, inputs, outputs submission requirements.
- Reviewing, quality assuring and amending bid proposal documentation and collateral.
- Carry out internal pitch team debriefs and conduct post decision reviews with the wider (virtual) bid team.
- Proactively seeking new methodologies, tools and innovations to deliver proposals in different ways.

Any other duties deemed necessary by the company management team.

**Key personal attributes**:
We are seeking a APMP Practitioner or professional level Bid Writer who is a highly organised individual who is able to work under pressure, taking full ownership of tasks in a dynamic and driven manner, with the ability to work confidently both independentlyand as part of a team. You will be working to tight deadlines, whilst effectively prioritising your workload. You will be comfortable with managing multiple concurrent tasks and effectively managing expectations. You will be a fluent English speaker with excellenttechnical writing skills and experience of generating compelling proposal content and possess excellent attention to detail. Possessing strong interpersonal / persuasive and administrative skills, you will have a can-do, positive attitude and be able to developa rapport within the bid team and with wider business stakeholders.

You should have a working knowledge of the electronic security industry and be conversant in the following technologies: CCTV, Access Control, IT, Intruder Detection Systems (IDS), Perimeter Intruder Detection Systems (PIDS) and Security Management Systems(SMS), although not essential.

**Qualifications and experience**:

- Educated to degree level or suitable experience
- Knowledge of the electronic security industry (not essential)
- Minimum experience of 5 years within bid writing
- Highly experienced in writing technical and qualitative content
- Be high organised, process driven and possess strong attention to detail
- Sales/Commercial training or experience
- APMP or similar accreditation
