JPC By Samsic is a leading facility management company that provides various services to businesses across the UK. We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our dynamic team and oversee the housekeeping operations in our client's facilities.
**Position Summary**:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will be responsible for managing the housekeeping staff and ensuring that all rooms, public areas and other designated areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness. This individual will be responsible for training and supervising housekeeping staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintaining inventory of supplies.
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are meeting company standards for cleanliness and productivity
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are covered and tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Inspect the office space, public areas, and facilities on a regular basis to ensure cleanliness and report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, ordering new supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of housekeeping staff and provide feedback for improvement
- Assist in the recruitment and hiring of new housekeeping staff as needed
- Handle guest complaints or requests regarding housekeeping services in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, such as cleaning schedules and employee schedules
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations
- Monitor and control expenses within the housekeeping department's budget
- Stay updated on industry trends, new cleaning techniques, and equipment, and implement best practices in the department

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospitality environment
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures, health and safety regulations, and inventory management
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively
