We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Officer to join our wonderful friendly team at The Laurels Neurological Rehabilitation Service in Lincolnshire.

The team at The Laurels work together to develop person-centred, evidence based rehabilitation care plans that aim to maximise the individual’s independence and recovery. The service provides accommodation for 12 residents and there is a garden, which residents are able to help to maintain and a training kitchen to support rehabilitation.

**What you'll be working**:
We're flexible but you will work a total of 15 hours per week, days and times to be agreed.

**What you'll be doing**:

- General maintenance and upkeep of the building - including decorating and building futniture
- Maintenance of pathways including cleaning and snow and ice clearance and prevention operations
- The recording of all data associated with Estates Operations manual
- Maintenance of all grounds and lawns using the plant and equipment supplied and the care and maintenance of all specialist Estates equipment including PPE
- Stock and storage of all equipment and maintenance and cleanliness of all storage areas
- Monitoring of gas and electricity systems, water systems and sewage systems
- Safety inspections on electrical equipment and maintaining inventory records
- Cleaning and general maintenance of the centre’s vehicle

**What you'll have**:

- A full Driving Licence
- Previous experience within a maintenance position within a similar sector
- Friendly and helpful approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work with the team or on own dependant on tasks
