We are actively recruiting for a Senior Practitioner in the SASH West Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a team specialising in working with young people who are at risk of harm including:
- At risk of Sexual Exploitation
- At risk of Criminal Exploitation
- Going missing
- Returning home after a period of time in care
- At risk of Radicalisation
- Involved in the Criminal Justice system
- At risk of homelessness
These complex young people can be the hardest to reach but the evidence shows that when engaged they can be supported to make real changes to their life and make safer decisions both for them and their family.
The team is multi-agency one and you would be working with Social Workers, Police Officers, Youth Justice and Reparation workers who are committed to improving outcomes for the most vulnerable young people on the cusp of adulthood.
You will be a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Worker England.
You will educated to degree level or equivalent.
You will have experience working with young people - ideally as part of a multi-agency team, and with an in-depth knowledge of the relevant childcare legislation.
The team is going through a period of change, and you would be key to supporting the staff with this transition.
