**Programme Manager - Supply Chain & Logistics**

**Remote - with travel to Sheffield, Bradford & Castle Donnington 3 days pw**

**6 months - potential to go perm**

**£700pd UMB**

**£540pd PAYE**

**Inside IR35**

This role will be responsible for leading the Brands Supply Chain & Logistics (SC&L) team and working with the wider SC&L function to establish the brands operating model, successfully on-board and integrate 3rd party brands into the supply chain and logisticsnetwork.

As a senior leader within both the SC&L and Brands Team, you will take a leadership role in

(1) reviewing and professionalising current business operating model

(2) transforming the Brands business (from SC&L perspective) and

(3) designing the future shape of the Brands business aligning Brands requirements with wider SC&L strategy. You will be the face of SC&L into the Brands team and be accountable for ensuring the SC&L solutions are implemented that supports / delivers theBrands strategy / ambition, whilst carefully balancing the trade-offs between Brands requirements and Supply Chain simplification.

**In the first instance this role will be required to:

- **
- Undertake an assessment of capabilities and accountabilities to form recommendations of how we can be more effective / efficient with time
- Ensure a clear plan for making BAU - Handover of new processes and operating procedures to the BAU teams in Operations and Planning
- Carry out a critical assessment of the SC&L operation in our Thorncliffe DC presenting opportunities as to how we can drive improvements in both service and cost
- Undertake an assessment of the current operating model for 3rd party Brands and Jaeger including clarifying the impact that Brands has on SC&L costs
- Support with the development and implementation of a new Warehouse Management System

Longer term, this role will be pivotal in successfully driving the integration of Brands into the supply chain and logistics network ensuring delivery of the Brands strategy & ambition, whilst carefully balancing the trade-offs between Brands requirementsand Supply Chain simplification so lots to get involved with and a great opportunity to very quickly make a significant contribution to our success

**To succeed in this role, you will be an expert in both Supply Chain and Logistics processes and have a good knowledge of Retail and Ecom Logistics and Business Processes. You'll have relevant and transferable programme management experience ideallygained within a Retail or Logistics background, if you have brands implementation experience as well then even better**

In addition, you'll be a tenacious and resilient self-starter, with the ability to think differently and respond to rapid change. With exceptional communication and organisational skills you'll also be comfortable handling a diverse and varied workload quiteoften under demanding timescales and with competing priorities.
