Patient Care Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our team at The Grove Veterinary Hospital, Fakenham.
The position will involve; preparing the patients for surgical procedures, assisting the nurses in theatre and general duties, cleaning clinical areas and equipment, cleaning and sterilising instruments, providing day patients with basic care needs, reception duties, assisting the veterinary surgeons in consults and lab work.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is compassionate, hardworking, forward thinking and able to use own initiative. Experience is not essential as full training and support will be provided, A willingness to learn and develop themselves is essential.
The role will require driving our practice ambulance to various locations including our main Fakenham Hospital so a full clean driving license is required.
The hours are 38 hours per week. Shifts will vary on a 6 week rolling rota which includes working weekends and evenings.
