A market leading, M&A, Debt/Equity and Restructuring advisor based in London is hiring across their junior ranks (experienced Analyst to Junior VP) to join their Debt Advisory and Restructuring team, due to exceptionally high deal flow, to support the furthergrowth of the business. The firm distinguishes themselves as company that provides the highest quality strategic and financial advice to help clients solve complex issues and/or to achieve M&A or financing objectives.

The firm's track record in advisory includes 500+ successful transactions ranging from mid (€200mil) to large (€2bn+) transactions across a multitude of sectors and European jurisdictions as well as cross-border deals, and they have advised a large proportionof the leading European financial sponsors. The team is recognised across the advisory community for a hands-on and highly technical approach.

The role will focus on advising sponsors and leveraged corporates across Europe on primary debt financings, refinancings, restructurings and capital structure advice. You will get exposure to a wide range of products including bank loans, unitranche, bonds,subordinated instruments, IPO-financings and asset financings.

Deals are executed in small teams and the role provides the opportunity to be involved in every stage of the mandate from origination to execution.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working on a range of debt advisory projects with regular interaction with clients, banks, debt funds, lawyers, advisors, and others
- Preparing transaction related documents, including teasers, management presentations and overviews of financing options
- Undertaking market and comparable transactions research
- Building and reviewing financial models for assessing the viability of transaction structures and determining appropriate debt levels
- Involvement in all stages of the financing process including direct exposure to C-level management and involvement in strategic discussions for debt financing options with the financial sponsor and/or management
- Liaising with banks and debt funds to secure competitive financing packages
- Conducting credit analysis including review of due diligence

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- 3-6 years’ experience with majority of time spent in Debt Advisory and/or Restructuring.
- Relevant Bachelor or Masters degree required from a top tier institution.
- You must have strong analytical & technical skills, are result-oriented, with attention to detail and quality when delivering results under time pressure.
- You must be eager to continue learning the ins and outs of debt and equity transactions and have a flexible mindset to take on complicated and new challenges.
- You must have proven project management and organizational skills.
- Participation in the Chartered Financial Analysts® (CFA) program is a plus.
