**Fund Accountant - Private Equity & Real Estate**. **OUR CLIENT**are a highly-regarded and well-known alternative investments company that focuses on Fund Accounting for Real Estate and Private Equity clients and they are now looking to add a Fund Accountant to their ever-growing Fund Accounting team.
**THE ROLE** will see the individual working closely with senior members of the team, taking on responsibility for all aspects of day-to-day accounting for one or more assigned structures. Other duties include:
- Responsible for bookkeeping transactions and maintenance of accounting records for multiple client entities.
- Preparing timely and accurate accounting output for subsequent review by the senior members of the team or client.
- Preparing monthly/quarterly reconciliations of management accounts.
- Preparing annual statutory accounts in line with appropriate accounting standards.
- Supporting payment processing in accordance with policy and strict deadlines.
- Ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
**THE PERSON** should be a part qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 1 years of previous fund accounting experience in a similar role. The individual should also be able to display a strong technical understanding offunds and financial services legislation, as well as a fundamental understanding of FRS and US GAAP.
