Howcroft Group Ltd is an independent and leading supplier of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) consumables and is based in the heart of South Yorkshire. Established in 1999, the company has enjoyed continued growth, re-locating to its current warehouse and office building in 2012. The company employs numerous local people, offering training and career progression.

**General Stores & Occasional Driving Person Required.**

Reportable to the Warehouse & Operations Managers.

Duties will include helping with all receipts, inventory control, preparation, packing and shipping of materials required in support of Howcroft Group customer requirements. The Stores person will also help with ensuring that the premises are safe and tidy to ensure the effectiveness of operations. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Stores person will be immediately reportable to the Warehouse Manager who will organise and oversee general daily duties. The Stores person will also be expected to help in the embroidery & printing division (all training will be provided). A full driver’s license will also be needed as from time to time the job role will include taking urgent deliveries to customers. If no driver’s license is held, it would be expected to achieve attaining one in the very near future.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Help with all aspects of the stores from the receipt of materials through to shipment to customers.

Taking deliveries and ensuring that equipment is stored, handled, and issued in a timely process and in accordance with company processes.

Conduct quality checks of inbound and outgoing equipment.

Pick, package and ensure timely dispatch of orders.

Prepare shipping documents including packing lists, and delivery notes.

Maintain inventory by conducting physical stock counts. Input data regarding stock and inventory into the computer management system.

Maintaining records as required under company procedures.

General day to day duties in the printing & embroidery room.

Backup driver.

Demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment by at all times maintaining a well organised clean and orderly work area, exercising proper care of both equipment and material.

Promote a culture of continuous improvement. to ensure the company goals are achieved.

All duties to be carried out efficiently and Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.

All training regarding procedures and processes will be provided over time.

**Qualifications & Experience**:
UK Driver’s license or leading to obtaining one.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and attention to detail.

Self-motivated and a willingness to learn and improve.

**Salary**:£23,500 whilst on probation (3 months), increasing to £24,000 following successful completion of probation

**Work Schedule**:40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm (unpaid 1 hour lunch)
