**Overview**:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Solution Development to work for a vibrant, modern University. As the Head of Solution Development, you will have the opportunity to support achieving strategic objectives by leading the development and implementationof technical enterprise architecture. This is a pivotal role for shaping the IT/digital architecture to deliver digital strategy. As the Head of Solutions, you will have a proven background in a Senior Development Manager and have gained exposure to a widebreadth of technologies.

**About the role**:

- As the Head of Solution Development, you will help to deliver a strategic software development vision for the University, providing software development leadership, governance, and standards.
- As the Head of Solution Development, you will champion continuous improvement and development, leading high performing teams covering multiple disciplines and further developing systems to meet the needs of the business.
- Setting technical direction and operational requirements whilst forming alliances and relationships with key stakeholders and contacts, both internal and external, enabling effective and secure delivery of services.

**About You**:

- Relevant, and recent senior experience as a Development Manager, Solution Development Manager or similar role is essential
- Experience and knowledge working with a ride range of technologies is essential
- Any experience in SharePoint,.Net Core, C#, LMS would be highly advantageous
- A forward thinking, motivated and passionate individual
- A proven background in a leadership role, with experience in developing and leading high performing teams

**Salary**:£50-60k

**Location**:Chelmsford/Cambridge (with Hybrid home working)
