**About The Role**

As Care Assistant within **Albany Lodge** you will be working as part of a focused, skilled team of fully supported staff who have our resident’s wellbeing at the core of all they do.

As a Care Assistant you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of person centred care to our resident's whilst maintaining dignity, respect and wellbeing. **Albany Lodge** is committed to supporting and developing all Care Assistants with ongoing training & leadership across all areas.

Previous experience within the Care sector is not essential as full comprehensive training will be provided. As an organisation we are extremely proud of the training and career development we offer.

**About the Training**

Over the course of 15 months, you will study a variety of modules that makes up the Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship, such as personal development in care settings, the responsibilities of a care worker, handling information in care settings, implementing person-centred care plans, safeguarding & protection in care settings, duty of care in care settings, communication in care settings, equality & inclusion in care settings and health & safety and wellbeing in care settings (these units may differ).

Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, you will achieve the Level 2 Adult Care Worker Apprenticeship standard and an accredited TQUK Diploma in Care qualification.

**About You**
- Naturally compassionate with a caring disposition
- Effective written & verbal communication skills
- Experience preferred but not essential
- Must have proof of Covid vaccinations
