Ed Receptionist

The Emergency Department is looking for a Receptionist to help facilitate the smooth and timely flow of patient journeys through the department and reduce delays.
We would like an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated individual to join our ED Admin team. Applications from individuals with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and who are IT literate will be welcomed.
This is an exciting and challenging role that comes with lots of opportunities to really make a difference to the patient experience.
The post will include some unsocial hours and weekend working.
You will provide a welcoming, friendly, courteous and efficient service to all including general reception duties for patients and visitors arriving within the department.
You will provide administrative support to facilitate the patient’s progress through the hospital system and maintain patient record systems providing confidential, accurate and up to date information.
