HR Advisor

I am excited to be recruiting a HR Advisor on a 12 month contract for a fantastic client in Billingham.

**Job Purpose**

To provide on-going advice, coaching and direct support to managers on HR policies, procedures and processes across the business as required. To contribute to the identification and development of business HR initiatives and processes to enable effectivepeople management practices and to build organisational capacity.

**Accountabilities**
- Contribute to the People Strategy to support our employees being engaged, motivated and competent.
- Develop HR policies and practices that are needed to deliver business success.
- Monitor and make recommendations to improve systems, procedures and behaviours to maintain a culture that helps all staff contribute to their full potential.
- Advice and support managers with employee relations issues such as discipline, absence, poor performance and grievances to achieve effective and proper outcomes.
- Facilitate and administer secondments (internal and overseas) and VISA compliantly and in line with Company requirements, liaising with third party specialists where required.
- Undertake job evaluation requests
- Support large scale HR change programmes.
- Any other duties commensurate with the role

**Skills Required**:

- Level 5 in Human Resource Management.
- Has the ability to challenge the current state, often in the face of strong resistance, without creating undue friction.
- Hands on attitude to getting things done, whilst considering competing factors.
- Strong time management and organisational skills
