**JOB- CMM Programmer**
**LOCATION- Oxfordshire**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £40,000-£47,000 per annum (dependent on experience)**
We are looking for a CMM Programmer on a permanent basis in the Oxfordshire area. Experience in the Aerospace and Automotive sector is an advantage as well as working with Mechanical components.**The CMM Programmer will ideally have the following attributes**:

- Working within a Quality Inspection department for at least 2 years
- Ability to read & interpret technical drawings
- Practical & methodical - ‘right first time’ methodology
- Problem solver/solution provider ensuring quality is everyone’s responsibility within the company
- CMM programming experience (PC-DMIS)
- Hands-on/Dexterous capabilities
- Good general IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Access
- Great time management skills
- Ability to work with own initiative under mínimal supervision

**The CMM Programmer role will involve**:

- Inspection of mechanical components to Engineering drawings accurately and confidently
- Writing programmes for the CMM
- The use of manual methods of inspection (micrometers, slip gauges, plug gauges etc)
- Liaise cross functionally between departments
- Ensure equipment remains within it’s calibration period and does not expire
- Make a positive contribution to maintain H&S and the workplace remaining tidy to a high standard
- Carry out any other additional duties within reasonable capability as required by Supervisor
