**What we do**

What we do is really simple, we sell building materials to the trade and public. We’re a ‘roll your sleeves up’ business with a can-do attitude and we take pride in serving our local tradespeople and communities.

**The role of a Materials Controller**

The purpose of this role is to provide a material purchasing and management service to our customer as part of a unique contract with the branch by ensuring materials, plant and waste services are provided promptly and efficiently. You need to be a highly motivated and organised individual to manage the end to end process relating to the supply order and delivery of materials to our customers and give them excellent customer service.

**What you need**

You’ll need experience in the management and supply of materials as well as the ability to work collaboratively with all teams to ensure a prompt and effective resolution of customer enquiries. You will also need to work in partnership with our customer to ensure services are supplied as efficiently and as promptly as possible. A full driving licence is essential for this role.
