Software Developer - Manchester/Hybrid Working - Up to £50k
On behalf of our well-established client based in Manchester, we are recruiting for a talented Software Developer. As Software Developer, you will be involved in the maintenance of existing solutions but also delivering improvements and enhancements whichuse the latest technologies and approaches such as.NET Core, Microservices architecture, Domain-Driven Design and CI/CD automation.

The Software Developer will be responsible for:

- Taking part in the fortnightly sprints including Sprint Planning, the Daily Scrum, and the Sprint Review.
- Helping keep accurate records of work completed by commenting on issues and following the workflow to indicate the progress of issues in real-time.
- Being involved in the development of new features, bug fixes and any technology work required to aid in the delivery of projects to customers.
- Contribute ideas to the product and continually improve the processes that are followed
- Assist with support issues that may occur with the platform or the data that has been generated for clients.

The Software Developer will have the following:

- Ability to utilise source control (Git) to store your code changes and to understand branching, tagging and pull requests using a Git server such as Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- C#/ASP.NET experience.
- Some exposure to unit testing.
- Experience in consuming web APIs or working with microservices architecture would be an advantage.
- Good communication skills include being comfortable working with and talking to non-technical members of the team to provide support and to interpret requirements.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail is key.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
