Our range of testing services include flammability, fibre composition, special claims, restricted substances, as well as toys and childcare products. Additional services include product inspections and social and ethical audits.

Our Retail Apparel Solutions Centre specialises in support to retailers in their product sample approval and critical path to product launch.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- To take ownership of the relevant areas of responsibility to meet our business needs, and to be totally committed to these.
- Log samples on the Critical Path when received into the department and ensuring that they meet critical path requirements to achieve delivery dates.
- Measure samples received and complete workbooks as required.
- Ensure Critical Path deadlines are maintained through supplier monitoring. Issue reminders to suppliers failing to maintain critical path deadlines.
- Check artwork against product information and provide feedback to suppliers and retailers on approval or rejection comments.
- Maintain artwork status on the critical path.
- Check physical packaging samples against approved artwork and scan packaging approval samples for barcode code confirmation.
- Scan and check packaging of production samples on arrival for errors and provide feedback to suppliers and retailers on approval or rejection comments.
- Keep detailed and accurate records of all communications in an orderly fashion.
- Build positive and effective relationships with buying teams and suppliers.
- Attend retailer meetings as required.
- Any other reasonable task requested to support the business.

**Knowledge and Experience**

**Essential**
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience at a similar level in Quality management / manufacturing environment
- Understanding of product sealing procedures, including product fit for use.
- Understanding of critical path management
- Experience working with retailers, brands, buying and sourcing offices, vendors, suppliers, and factories

**Desirable**
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Understanding manufacturing processes and production experience.
- Experience in one or more of these areas, Kitchen Products, Toys, Furniture, Gifts, Stationery, Homewares

**Salary**: From £28,000.00 per year
