**We are looking for a skilled/ semi skilled butcher preferably from a speed boning line. (Hourly pay rate will be based on experience) The ideal person will a few years experience and can work at a good pace. Qualifications are not essential as hygiene training will be given amongst training in other related areas.**

**Hours**

**The hours for this role are 06:00 - 17:00 Monday - Thursday**

**Overtime may be required on Fridays during busy periods.**

**Duties**

Reporting to the Butchery Supervisors, your duties will include the following:

- Work in an organised manner, while maintaining a clean and tidy work place.
- Carry out butchery tasks as required.
- Ensure production records are completed.
- Ensure cleaning schedules are completed as per cleaning cards
- Maintain high levels of personal hygiene at all times.
- Keep fridge and freezer in a tidy and organised manner.
- Clean dolavs and bone bins.
- Wear PPE when handling knives including chain mail gloves and apron. Clean equipment including knives, chainmail gloves, aprons and boots at each break.
- Before leaving the room, obtain consent from the Room Supervisor who will ensure cleaning records are checked prior to your exit.
- Freeze boxed bones, ribs and collar product daily with labels.
- Clean docking bay after pig delivery.
- Keep dolavs clean and stacked in lean-too when not in use.
- Keep dry store vac bags and cures tidy.
- Comply with all Company policies, procedures and training requirements.
- Comply with all Health & Safety policies, procedures and working practices.
- Undertake additional tasks and duties as deemed necessary by your manager or by the needs of the business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.50 per hour
