We are looking for a Part Time Permanent Retail Assistant to join the team in our Houghton Hall Garden Centre.
Our competitive rates of pay range from £9 to £10.46 per hour dependent on age.
The hours for this position are 6.5 hours per week on Saturday or Sunday.
**The Role**
As a Plant Area Retail Assistant, you have a use your specialist plant knowledge to provide excellent customer service, creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers helping them to make informed purchases.
**What you will be doing as a Plant Area Retail Assistant?**
- Plant stock replenishment and merchandising to create fabulous plant displays
- Look after and care for our plants ensuring they are always healthy and looking great for our customers
- Advising our customers on suitable plants and products for their needs, taking every opportunity to WOW.
- Till operation and serving customers
- Carry out cleaning and housekeeping tasks as needed
- Assisting customers with carrying purchases to their cars
- Collecting trolleys and shopping baskets
