**Credit Controller**

Key Contribution Areas*

*
Liaise with all staff, clients and external organisations regarding credit queries and procedures.
- Support fee earners to ensure queries from clients regarding their debt are dealt with promptly. Where necessary agree and monitor progress of disputed invoices and put in place any action required.
- Liaise with fee earners to action their outstanding debts and encouraging a proactive response to clients.
- Initiate and produce reports to fee earners, team leaders and the management board on a regular basis to outline the aged debt position and the actions taken to date.
- Liaise with the wider Accounts team as and when required regarding money transfers, credit notes and complex allocation queries.
- Processing invoice write offs and credit notes ensuring proper authorisation has been obtained and maintaining records.
- Any other duties within the scope and spirit of the post as required.
