We are looking for a Part Time Family Wellbeing Worker - Respitality (19 hours) to join our team.
**Job Purpose**:
To develop a model for a Respitality Service that will improve the wellbeing of unpaid carers throughout Aberdeen. Provision of respite in the local area will build partnerships with local businesses and enable carers to continue in their caring role.
To identify business partners who can potentially provide services to carers, possible lines of community support for carers and young carers
To contribute to newsletters and posts for social media that offer information.
To act as a resource point for carers to access the respite on offer.
To assist with information population on data base
To promote the service across Aberdeen City
To work in partnership with Shared Care Scotland and Aberdeen City Local Authority in developing the model.
To promote Carer Positive Kitemark Scheme with interested business partners.
