Warehouse Stock Controller

We have an opening for multiple Stock Controllers to join a well known furniture retailer in the South Marston area of Swindon.

**There is a choice of shift to choose from**:

- Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm, paying £10.89ph
- Monday to Friday, 2pm -10pm. Paying £10.89ph
- Sunday to Thursday, 10pm-6am. Paying £11.88ph

**Stock Controller duties include**:

- Review of system generated report activities to ensure physical and actual stock levels remain synchronised so that integrity of stock counts is maintained.
- Assist with the daily/weekly PI counting schedule as determined by both customer & operational requirements.
- Liaise with other team members / managers, regarding all aspects of inventory control including stock holding so that appropriate decisions can be made.
- To control the stock returned to the depot process and associated procedures in a timely and efficient manner, incorporating customer requirements.
- To organise and monitor stock building and damage reporting.
- Due to the height of racking in the warehouse, you will need to operate a scissor lift to reach location of stock.

**For the position of Stock Controller you will need the following skills / attributes**:

- It would be advantageous if you have previous experience of working within a stock / inventory role
- Experience of Microsoft software, including Excel
- Ability to work in a fast moving retail environment
- Good communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Strong team player and ability to work under own initiative
- Previous experience of working with Warehouse Management System would be advantageous
- Willingness to attend additional training course, including being trained on MHE / Forklift Truck

**Salary**: £10.89-£11.88 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
