We are looking to for a female* Personal Care Assistant to provide support and assistance to a lady who has Crohn’s disease and Colitis. She has 2 school aged children and a small dog. She requires support with daily tasks including grocery shopping cooking, laundry, accessing the community and personal care when required (support with showering and dressing)

**Job Description & Person Specification**

Job title: Self Employed Personal Care Assistant (female* applicants only)

Location: Bournemouth BH11 area

Job purpose:
To assist with a variety of tasks which will assist person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.

About the individual:
A lady who has Crohn’s disease and Colitis. She has 2 school as children and a small dog**.**

**Hours of work**: 11.5 hours per week, start time required is 9:30am, Days are flexible to potentially cover Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays

**Social duties**
- keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
- support to access the community, accessing volunteer or paid work.

**Personal Care**:

- support with bathing or showering when required.
- dressing

**Domestic duties**:

- support with grocery shopping,
- cooking and serving nutritious meals and snacks
- cleaning, changing linen, laundry, ironing

These duties may vary from day-to-day

**Essential**:

- driving licence
- car and appropriate insurance

- likes dogs or other pets
- a good listener
- **Essential**:

- Provide evidence of self-employment such as Public Liability Insurance, Terms and Conditions, tax reference number.
- DBS Check will be required
- Legally Able to Work in UK

- Monday to Friday
