Contract Type: Part-Time - 24 hours per week, Temporary - 4-month contract

**Company Overview**

NL Productions is a leading event production and management company specializing in delivering high-quality, immersive experiences. With a strong reputation for innovation and excellence, we have been trusted with some of the most prestigious events in Scotland, including the Enchanted Forest in Perthshire, Castle of Light at Edinburgh Castle and both Edinburgh Zoo’s Christmas Nights and Halloween Spooktacular.

Due to this expanding workload we and are looking for a talented Marketing Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of these exciting events.

**Role Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Social Media Management:
a. Assist in planning, creating, and scheduling content across social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok).

b. Monitor social media trends, conversations, and engagement to identify opportunities for brand visibility.

c. Respond to comments and messages, ensuring timely and appropriate interactions with our online community.

d. Analyse social media performance metrics (engagement, reach, followers, etc.) and report key findings to the marketing team.

e. Help execute paid social media campaigns and track their success.

2. Content Creation & Copywriting:
b. Write engaging and relevant copy for social media posts, website updates, and other marketing materials.

c. Work closely with the graphic design team to develop eye-catching visuals that align with brand messaging.

3. Campaign Support:
a. Assist in the coordination and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and promotions.

c. Help maintain marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are met.

4. Market Research & Analysis:
a. Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences.

b. Support in gathering and analysing data on campaign performance and customer behaviour.

c. Assist in compiling reports on marketing activities, providing insights for future strategies.

5. Administrative Support:
a. Assist the marketing team with day-to-day administrative tasks, such as maintaining databases, coordinating meetings, and managing marketing inventory (brochures, merchandise, etc.).

**Qualifications and Experience**

1. Qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

2. Strong knowledge of social media platforms and a passion for digital marketing.

3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

4. Creative mindset with attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.

5. Basic understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

8. Familiarity with social media analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar).

9. Basic knowledge of SEO and paid digital advertising.
