**About the Role**

**Base Location**: Reading, Havant, Glasgow or Perth

**Salary**: £51,600 - £77,400 + performance-related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.

**Working Pattern**: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible First options available

This is an exciting role aligned to one or more SSE Business units on programs who are working at the leading-edge, innovating with new ways of achieving greater throughput and business value through Agile and Digital transformation, and supporting SSE's renewable energy strategy. The department is seeking to enhance its skills in a spectrum of cyber security capabilities, and key areas such as Operational Technology, Agile security, Cloud, and Microsoft Azure, with corresponding strong stakeholder management skills. Experience and qualifications in Cloud and Operation Technology are strongly preferred.

Top 5 Key Responsibilities;
- Oversight of security consulting for an SSE Business Unit, and liaison with business stakeholders.
- Security advice and guidance on policies and standards, architecture review, security plan, controls assessment, and risk assessment.
- Actively supporting multiple business, IT and Operational Technology projects, and their successful delivery.
- Maintaining a forward view of business unit demand for security consulting.
- Working with third party security service providers.

**What do I need?**

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current security certifications - One or more of the following (or equivalent): CISSP (ISC2), CCSP (ISC2), CISM (ISACA), CCSK (CSA) ISA/IEC 62443, GICSP or equivalent.
- Proven experience in security architecture, consulting, security assurance, and risk assessment.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Cloud technologies, and some experience in Operational Technology, Industrial Control Systems and Agile delivery.
