Volunteer Befriender

We are looking for kind people who could spare a little time to chat with someone who is feeling a little lonely or isolated. If you could spare an hour a week or fortnight to have a chat you would be hugely appreciated Our volunteers are carefully matched with people they will have a nice time with and often beautiful friendships develop.

Befriending relationships might be on the phone, through outdoor visits or indoor visits depending on the arrangement. Many of the people involved with our project say that chatting with their volunteer friend is the highlight of their week.

No special skills needed - we're just looking for kind, friendly people who want to help others
