**About the role**
As a Kitchen Team Member at Aspers Casino Newcastle you will be responsible for the kitchen operation to meet and deliver customer expectations and in turn help us to achieve our financial targets. When it comes to service standards you will lead by example to meet customer, compliance and Company expectations. The fundamental purpose of the role is to assist us in expanding the food offering we currently have and increasing the quality of the food we are able to serve.
**Reports to**:Customer Service Manager, Food & Beverage
**Contract**: Permanent, full time (40hrs a week)
**Location base**: Aspers Casino Newcastle
**Department Responsibilities**
- Preparing, cooking & presenting a Food menu that has been specially selected by our Food & Beverage Managers
- Adhering to all Health & Safety policies
- Communicating stock levels
- High standards of cleanliness
- Ensuring that all food hygiene regulations regarding food storage and preparation are fully adhered to at all times
- Working alongside our service staff to ensure our customers receive timely service
- Good organizational skills with the ability to work alone and manage your time effectively
**Entry Requirements**
- Previous Kitchen experience in a similar role and/Or Level 1 NVQ Certificate in Food Preparation and Cooking or above
**Knowledge**
Essentials: Kitchen Health & Safety, Food Hygiene & Allergens.
