The **Committee Coordinator** is responsible to coordinate, facilitate, support & engage the IRATA committees and its stakeholders. This role supports
- Regional Advisory Committees.
- Training Committee.
- Health & Safety Committee.
- Equipment & Standards Committee.
- Executive Committee (where necessary).

**Main responsibilities**
- Provide administrative support to committee chairs.
- Direct committee queries to the appropriate stakeholders for resolution, as necessary.
- Facilitate committee meetings by assisting with planning, minute-taking (when required), and managing resulting actions effectively.
- Maintain and administer the global calendar for Committee Elections using the IRATA electronic ballot system.
- Channel member queries to the relevant committees for discussion and resolution.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with committees and their stakeholders, fostering collaboration and trust.
- Stay informed about committee activities and escalate issues or concerns to the management when necessary.
- Keep committee chairs informed about ongoing head office projects, organisational news, and relevant updates.
- Support management with ad hoc projects and events.
- Review and manage committee agendas to ensure items are tabled at the appropriate levels and that they align with IRATA’s strategic objectives.
- Participate in committee meetings in an observer or advisory capacity, providing guidance as needed.

Reporting to the Events & Communications Coordinator, the post holder will;
- Ability to communicate, develop relationships at all levels within and outside the Association.
- Demonstrate a desire to work with each committee to understand their priorities and success measures. To build positive relationships, looking for win-win solutions in order to drive safe practises, growth, reputation and performance for the benefit of the Association.
- To always represent IRATA in a positive and professional manner. The person we seek will ideally meet the following criteria and be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Ability to communicate, develop relationships at all levels with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate a desire to work with each committee to understand their priorities and success measures. To build positive relationships, looking for win-win solutions in order to drive safe practises, growth reputation and performance for the benefit of the Association.
- Be flexible in their approach to working hours
- To represent the Association in a positive and professional manner at all times.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Computer literate (inc. Microsoft Office, excel etc)
- GCSE English and Maths Grade 5 and above

This is an office based, full-time position working from IRATA’s head offices in Ashford, UK. The core working hours are 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

Upon successful completion of a three month probationary period the successful applicant will receive;
- Competitive salary

Pay: £12.08-£13.18 per hour
