Arran View Care Home is a multi-site service, assisting from all ages and with diagnoses ranging from dementia to mental health and learning disability. We are located in the quaint town of Saltcoats overlooking the Isle of Arran.

We care for residents from the age of 18 upwards to elderly. Within the role of Healthcare Assistant, you will be expected to provide individualised and outcome based care to our residents promoting independent tasks and living across different sites, including older adults and younger adults in units bespoke to their age range.

Joining our team you will be part of a care and support team who are kind and caring to all our residents and visitors. It is essential you bring with you a great work ethic and sense of humour, an individual who is able to handle a high-stress working environment and use their initiative in situations which may require the use of de-escalation and redirection.

We are looking for both dayshift and nightshift to join our ever-growing multi-site; our robust and extensive training programme is advantageous for those looking to increase their skillset and any learning used towards qualifications.
- One year previous healthcare experience.
- Experience of working with both younger and older adults
- Able to demonstrate initiative in de-escalation and redirection
- A knowledge of Electronic Care Planning would be advantageous

Hours: Full-time

Role: Dayshift & Nightshift
