Teaching Personnel has been approached by a Special School in south Birmingham who require Teaching Assistants to add to their growing team.

The school caters for children with Mild Learning Difficulties, Physical Disabilities and Autism. The school caters for pupils aged 2-19 and provides specialist provisions to help them to thrive.

The Teaching Assistant will need to be able to work under the direction and control of the class teacher although at times be expected to use your own initiative to organise activities and tasks. The role will include, supporting the class teacher to engagethe pupils and support their learning.

Team teach trained is preferred but not essential.

The working hours are 8.30 am-15.30 pm.

The pay for this role is £10.20 per hour but could be higher depending on experience.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
