Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity available at our Solihull branch. The HR Administrator will be accountable for the employee lifecycle once the employee has started with the Company. This role will act as a point of contact for all employee related administration requests and will work closely with internal business functions such as Payroll, Finance, Fleet & Transport, Operations and Regional HR Operational Teams as well as external stakeholders, ensuring prompt response to queries within the defined SLAs.
Main Responsibilities
You will be responsible for ensuring weekly and monthly payroll deadlines are adhered to, which includes the input of new starters, change requests such as salaries, grades, job changes, processing of leavers and input of absence. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct detail/documentation is sent to the payroll team in conjunction with the above deadlines. You will be responsible for the administration of contractual changes sent via local sites / reward. You will be responsible for offboarding, including notifying payroll and other internal stakeholders such as IT, Fleet & Transport and Training.
Ideally, you'll have a minimum of 2 years HR administration experience. But this is not essential. What's more important is your can do attitude and the desire to learn. You will need to have achieved a grade C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent). A CIPD Level 3 or studying towards a Diploma/NVQ Business Administration is desirable. You will need to have excellent written and oral communication, confidentiality and professionalism and a good eye for detail.
