Veterinary Receptionist

**Overview**

This is a Part Time flexible role to cover when we have Holidays or sickness in Reception

**Duties**
- Greet clients and their pets warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and reminders to optimise the clinic's workflow.
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, treatments, and general pet care information.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories and vaccination details.
- Process payments and manage billing inquiries efficiently.
- Assist veterinary staff with laboratory tasks as needed, ensuring a collaborative team environment.
- Keep the reception area tidy and organised, creating a pleasant environment for clients and their pets.
- Handle client complaints with professionalism and empathy, striving for resolution and satisfaction.

**Skills**
- Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact positively with clients and team members.
- Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling, record keeping, and billing processes.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a calm demeanour.
- A genuine love for animals and understanding of their needs is essential.
- Knowledge of laboratory procedures related to veterinary care would be advantageous.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
