CitySprint have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Apprentice to cover various aspects of both Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator duties to offer support to the operations teams of the Service Centre, to ensure customer Service Levels are maintained and all duties are carried out in line with internal processes.
**The main responsibilities within the Operations Apprentice role are**:
- Always manage all direct communications relating to designated driver workload courteously and efficiently in line with Network Utilisation rules
- Proactively manages and resolves direct customer, courier, and control queries by effectively communicating with another department
- Ensures all in-house systems are updated accurately and in a timely manner program City Trak and X-Despatch 3
- Collaborates effectively with all stakeholders (Drivers, Service Centre Colleagues, Clients, Suppliers)
- Where necessary supports the optimisation of all courier resources across the national network
- Ensures all paperwork and systems are maintained efficiently and accurately and in line with business requirements
- Supports site housekeeping in line with Health and Safety requirements
**Skills needed for an Operations Executive Apprentice**:
- A good understanding of operational warehouse functions
- Ability to report on KPI’s to ensure the warehouse function is operating in line with SLA’s
- Understand business patterns and proactively contributes to planning for success in peak periods
- Ability to reprioritise tasks/workload in line with changing business needs in a busy and time sensitive environment
- Previous experience in an Operational or Customer Service environment
- Working knowledge of inhouse systems e.g., CityTrak and X-Despatch 3
- Basic computer skills - full Microsoft Office suite
