**Planning Administrator**
**Job Purpose**:
To assist in maintaining production plans in line with Company’s requirements.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Using the ERP system to ensure that Item Master Data is correct and up-to-date
- Communicate changes made to the business and ensure detail matches the customer specification
- Preparation and control of production folders with emphasis on correct data and availability prior to production
- Assist Planning team with material availability, to ensure efficient and timely plans can be implemented
- Place orders for materials when required
- Liaise with customers and freight forwarders, in respect of incoming tanker movements, highlighting any capacity issues and working towards resolution thereof
- Create production packs and cover the role of bulk wine delivery management
- Weekly update of orders in terms of customers and arrival dates/times
- Visibility of volume by week as far as the ETAs are applicable
- Analysis of forecast volume and customer adherence to this
- Demurrage analysis where required
- Comparison of glass forecast by customer against their volume forecast by month
- Ad hoc cover for packs, tank bookings, etc

**Safety**:
- Ensure all duties are carried out in accordance with current H&S, environmental and food safety legislation and procedures
- Use all PPE and equipment as instructed
- Maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Report any serious malfunctions or risks to a responsible person
**Hours of work**:
Full time, 08:00am to 16:30pm with a half hour unpaid lunchbreak, 40 hours per week
**Salary**:
£24,000 per year
**Experience required**:
1 year in a planning administration role
1 year of working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
