We have an exciting new opportunity for an **Operational Support Supervisor**work here at Thrive Homes This frontline role will be customer focused, providing a comprehensive supervisory service to the organisation.

**The Opportunity**
- Manage the delivery of team objectives by actively encouraging good performance and productivity; promptly deal with poor or below standard performance or behaviours.
- Ensure effective communication with team via 121, team meetings, quarterly performance reviews.
- Set and manage team objectives and regularly review against business and strategic plans.
- Actively encourage Continuous Professional Development.
- Encourage team creativity and innovation and create an environment for this to develop.
- Actively promote, encourage and work in line with the Thrive Homes Vision & Values & in accordance with Policies and Procedures
- Work in accordance with our policies and procedures relating to building services and building maintenance works, ensuring they are in line with legal requirements and good practice.
- Support the delivery of a high quality building services and maintenance service including the management of the planning function to Thrive Homes' building and other client's properties in accordance to company plans and legislation.
- Direct line management of the planning resource and capacity to allow for an efficient service delivery to meet agreed targets and supporting.
- Managing the relevant staff to enable the operational support of building services and maintenance projects, ensuring that we deliver a cost effective and competitive repairs service on day to day maintenance, cyclical, refurbishment voids works, home servicingand any other building related projects.
- Manage functional budgets, monitor and production of KPIs and data for THS managers.
- Manage uniform procurement, issuing and replacement.
- Fleet Manager role, manage and monitor vehicle usage.
- Manage repair and replacement of white goods in Market rent properties.
- Manage and support the team to endure material purchases represent vfm.
- Be available for out of hours contact.
- You will be required to undertake any other reasonable duties/projects as required by your line manager/senior manager.
**Requirements**:
- GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C to include Maths & English.
- Full driving license
- Be able to easily engage with a variety of people from all levels within the business
- Flexible & self motivated
- Have good attention to detail.
- Able to work to strict deadlines and able to carefully plan their work whilst adhering and promoting best practice
- Proven experience of managing an operational team to a successful outcome
- Knowledge of legislation, and current practice relating to servicing and maintenance
- Excellent health and safety management skills
- Experience of working in social housing would be advantageous
- You must have strong customer service skills
- You must be able to work with minimum supervision
**Benefits**
- Salary of **£31,971 - £32,960**per year, depending on experience.
