E A Lane & Sons are seeking a Graduate or Trainee Rural Surveyor to join our team.
- Valuations of rural and residential property for taxation, estate planning and sale purposes.
- Sales and lettings of rural and commercial properties including farms, smallholdings, land, cottages, etc.
- Preparation and management of all types of Rural and Residential Tenancy Agreements including AHA’s, FBT’s, Licences, Cropping Licences, ATA’s, AST’s, etc.
- Rural Planning and Mapping.
- Auctions.
- Rural Payments.
- Compensation claims against utility companies.
- Involvement in day to day running of Livestock Market.

**Requirements**:

- An aim to training towards RICS qualifications.
- An organised approach with attention to detail for all work.
- A rural background with an interest in rural life.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to confidentially deal with clients and fellow professionals in a professional manner.
- Good computer skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
- A positive outlook with an appetite for continuous improvement and a willingness to learn.

We are open to offering the role to individuals who are qualified Surveyors, Graduates or who are training towards becoming a Rural Surveyor and salary will be commensurate with level of experience.
