Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator available at short notice - seeking an exciting new opportunity as that helps us redefine what's possible for HR.

**What is the role?**
As the Payroll Administrator you will report into the Payroll Manager.
The Payroll Administrator will support the payroll function in ensuring all employees are paid correctly each month, ensuring best practice is met.
**What will you do?**
- Validating, preparing and formatting data in readiness to load to the payroll bureau.
- Assisting with the monthly payroll checking.
- Issuing monthly P45s and ad-hoc printed payslips.
- Responding to and resolving general payroll queries from employees, escalating where necessary.
- Raising third party payment requests.
- Assisting with other tasks as reasonably requested.
**Do you have what we're looking for?**
- Working knowledge of basic UK payroll legislation (Income Tax and National Insurance).
- Working knowledge of computerised payroll systems (People XD would be desirable but not essential as training will be given).
- Working knowledge and understanding of best practice in office administration.
- Demonstrable experience of organising and prioritising own workload in a demanding environment.
- Professional and efficient handling of payroll queries to satisfactory resolution within agreed SLA.
- Understanding and appreciation of what delivering excellent employee experiences look like.
- A positive ‘can do' attitude with a flair for delivering great customer service.
- An organised and methodical approach to work, with a high level of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure, whilst meeting tight deadlines.
- Team player - enjoys working as part of a larger team as well as taking responsibility for own workload.
- Appreciation of the need for strict confidentiality.
- Flexibility towards business needs.
