**SUMMARY** Fuelbetteris a start-up that's solving "the food problem" by giving every family their own full-time chef and dietitian team - for £30 ($50) per week. We're looking for a **Co-Founder - React Native Frontend Lead** to join us and take ownership of delivering our digital MVP (app and website), translating UX/UI feature requirements into code and supporting cloud architecture that delights our customers. **Your compensation (like the rest of us) will be equity-based until we receive VC funding.** **THE PROBLEM** The "food problem" is staggering. 85% of all healthcare spending is to manage chronic diseases resulting from poor diet (including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, obesity, hypertension, and certain cancers). 81% of all women are actively trying to lose weight and struggling to do so. The average woman spends >12hrs unpaid labour doing the work of feeding the family, often at the expense of her own health and professional development. The average household ends up throwing out >20% of its food by value - which not only puts pressure on household budgets, but also contributes to methane emissions from landfills. And the list goes on. **OUR SOLUTION** Fuelbetter's solution? We give you your own full-time chef and dietitian team, who work from a professional kitchen near you. We do all the work of meal-planning, shopping, cooking, and clean-up - for every meal, and every family member. Every meal is precisely tailored to each family member's needs, preferences, restrictions, and health goals. No more gender inequality in the kitchen. No more food waste. No more worrying if you're eating the right things to achieve your health goals. **THE OPPORTUNITY** The financial opportunity is as big as the problem. Just focusing on one consumer segment, working mothers, our addressable market is >£300 ($500) billion p.a. (UK + US). If all goes well, we'll easily be a £15 ($20) billion business in 7-10 years from now - and we'll all be multi-millionaires. **STATUS** We've bootstrapped and spent >2 years successfully developing the ground-breaking technology needed to deliver this solution profitably. But the technology alone is not enough for the VCs - they want to see first revenue and the early metrics (retention, LTV, CAC) that come with it. So our next step is to complete our digital MVP (a website, plus modifications to our existing React Native, data-science driven technology demo app available on iOSand on Android) and start our daily deliveries of dietitian-individualised meals. We've already got a waitlist of >150 families in London (our first launch city), representing untapped monthly revenue of £120k ($200k). **YOUR ROLE** As a Co-Founder, you'd spend the next ~1-3 months working part-time to complete build out the digital MVP, and thereafter maintain what you've built for 1-4hrs/week until we secure VC funding. To be clear, this is a **Co-Founder role - meaning your compensation would be equity-based, with no cash compensation until we secure VC funding**.
