Maintenance Supervisor

**Vivisol UK**are currently hiring for a **Maintenance Supervisor** to be responsible for leading and supervising the Service Technicians team performing testing, repairing and maintenance of all medical devices whilst following all Health and Safety guidelines and policies. In parallel this role will also have a hands-on plant maintenance responsibility, involving repairs, maintenance and unplanned maintenance to all equipment while including liaison with 3rd party specialist contractors. We offer a generous package including; 33 days holiday (including BH), excellent training and development programs, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, as well as a starting salary of _£30,000 - £35,000 _per annum, dependant on experience. **Hours**: 40-hour week - Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm Full training will be provided for all new starters and an extensive programme put in place. **Primary Duties & Areas of Responsibility**: - To manage the testing, repairing and cleaning of medical device equipment - To plan the allocation of resources across the team to ensure efficient throughput of devices to meet daily demand for devices and service intervals. - Preventative maintenance programs to extend maintenance life and minimise downtime - Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues quickly and effectively - Knowledge of calibration and maintaining equipment to maintain operational standards - Reporting to the respective Site Mngr with close communication/accountability to Technical Maintenance Mngr, to liaise and problem solve any issues impacting on medical device equipment, safety, production plant and equipment and associated quality and logistics. - To ensure that the equipment output matches the needs of the business - To ensure equipment meets manufacturer and technical standards suitable for use by patients. - To ensure Service Technician’s are trained, internally and externally to meet business needs. - To fully document service reports - To ensure an efficient and safe operation - To ensure the Health & Safety/welfare of yourself and fellow colleagues by following company Information Security, HR as well as Health and Safety guidelines and policies - To co ordinate and liaise with 3rd party contractors to enable both repairs, maintenance and compliance checks on respective Fill plant equipment **Required Experience**: - Relevant experience in a Maintenance and Repair Environment (ideal) - Management experience (Ideal) - Will require an Enhanced DBS **Competencies**: - Effective communication skills - Ability to work under pressure - Trustworthy, reliable & ethical **Who we are** Dolby Vivisol holds the NHS contracts for the provision of Home Oxygen services in the UK.
