Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a Local Authority, based in the **West Midlands**, which is in need of a **Traffic Legal Clerk** to join their team. The role will predominantly deal with drafting Traffic Regulation orders and provide assistance to the Highways team. If this is of interest to you, then please read on.

**ROLE**: Traffic Legal Clerk

**LOCATION**: West Midlands, hybrid working

**RATE**: £13-£14ph Umbrella

**CONTRACT LENGTH**: Rolling 3 month contract with funding for the position to last a year

The Role:

- Assist Lawyers with functions relating to Highways, Public Rights of Way and Commons
- Drafting Traffic Orders and general admin
- Liaise with clients of the council and assist with new and ongoing case files

The Person:

- Ideally someone who has worked in a legal team at a Local Authority
- A reliable individual who is willing to work hard as part of a team and is looking to commit to a position
- Ideally someone who has drafted Traffic Orders previously

We also welcome referrals for this position, where a successful recommendation would be worth £250.
