Luton, United Kingdom Merlin Supply Chain Full time

Our Client based in Luton are looking for 3-4 Van drivers to deliver goods around the UK.
Some of the deliveries can be items such as bathroom suites so there needs to be an awareness of the size and weight when manual handling.

Working Monday to Friday 7am starts paying £12.00ph

Duties but not limited to:

- Safely operate a van to transport passengers or goods to designated locations
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Loading and unloading goods
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the van
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the vehicle
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transportation

**Skills**:

- Valid driver's license with a maximum of 6 points speeding only
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- Ability to navigate using GPS or maps
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers coworkers
- Ability to lift heavy items, if required for the job
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliability and flexibility
- Must be able to get the the site for their designated start
- Must be motivated to represent the clients brand in a positive light
- Must be physically fit due to the nature of the job
