**Position**: Building Surveyor for Insurance Repairs
As a Building Surveyor for Insurance Repairs at ATR Building Services Ltd you will play a crucial role in assessing and managing property damage claims, overseeing repair projects, and ensuring the restoration process is carried out effectively and efficiently. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, preparing accurate reports, and collaborating with various stakeholders to facilitate seamless repairs.
**Responsibilities**:
Conduct detailed site inspections to assess property damage and determine repair requirements.
Prepare comprehensive reports outlining the scope of work, cost estimates, and timelines for repairs.
Liaise with insurance companies, policyholders, contractors, and other relevant parties to coordinate repair projects.
Provide expert advice and guidance on building regulations, construction techniques, and materials selection.
Maintain accurate documentation and records of all surveying activities, including photographs, measurements, and correspondence.
**Requirements**:
Valid driver's license and requirement to travel to various sites as required around south of England.
Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, preferably in the insurance repair industry.
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess property damage and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with all staff.
Professional certifications (e.g., MRICS, RICS APC) are desirable but not essential.
