We are recruiting new volunteers for our crèche sessions on

Wednesdays and Fridays from 9.40am-12.00pm

**About us**:
St. Vincent's Family Project aims to support young families and children especially where there are difficulties.

We offer an experience of community which inspires, supports and facilitates positive change in the lives of those who use its services. The Project has a values-based Christian ethos whilst working within a hyper-diverse, multicultural urban setting. We offer services without charge, that are open to everyone and are targeted within their focus; that of building stronger and more resilient families, improving the mental health of children and providing volunteer opportunities for those wanting to serve others in need.

Family Space is a part of our project to support family life through a variety of support services. One of them is Crèche provision for families with young children (ages 0-3).

**About you**:

- You will be friendly, caring, and a team player.
- You will be passionate about helping children and will have an understanding of children’s needs
- You will be available to commit to one or more sessions a week.
- Skills in arts and crafts, storytelling, music are a bonus and useful but not essential

**Your role**:
You will assist the Crèche Leader in planning sessions, setting up activities, leading song and story time, preparing snack for children, washing dishes, and tidying after each session. Volunteers will help to create an environment that promotes self-directed learning and positive social-emotional development through engaging in play and creative activities with children. Volunteers can use their own hobbies or interests to organise activities in consultation with the Crèche Leader.
