Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Senior Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in a healthcare setting. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others and contribute to their overall well-being.

**Duties**:

- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Administer medications to residents
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Producing care plans
- Supporting and leading the Healthcare Assistants within the home
- Shift Planning
- Liaising with GP's, nurses, MDT, families etc.

**Skills**:

- NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Medication administration
- Strong IT skills for documentation purposes
- Experience working in a care home or similar healthcare setting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals
- Proficient in English language for effective communication with patients and colleagues

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

- Diploma of Higher Education (required)
